Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear almost every day, answered straight — no fine print.

How much do you charge for diagnostics?

Nothing. Diagnostics are always free, and we call before the price changes by even a penny — nothing happens without your approval first.

How long does a repair take?

Most issues are resolved within 24 hours. Some repairs take longer if we need to order parts or it's a more advanced issue, but we're big on communication and keep you updated every step of the way. You can also check your ticket status anytime through our online repair portal, no phone call needed.

Do I need an appointment to bring in a repair?

No. Drop-off repairs are handled first-come, first-served — just bring it by. We also offer on-site service for residential and commercial clients who need us to come to them.

My internet isn't working. Is there anything I can check before bringing my computer in?

A few quick things to try first: unplug your modem and router for about 30 seconds, then plug them back in and give it a minute to reconnect. Check whether other devices in the house have the same problem — if it's just the one device, the issue is likely with that device, not your internet. Make sure cables are seated firmly, and if you have data on your phone, check your provider's outage map to rule out a service outage on their end. If none of that fixes it, bring it in and we'll dig deeper.

Do you buy or sell used computers?

Yes. We buy working used equipment, sell refurbished machines, and can help you weigh whether a repair or a replacement makes more sense for what you've got.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, along with cash.

Can you back up my files before you start a repair?

Yes — just let us know at drop-off if you'd like your files backed up first, and we'll take care of it before any work begins.
